How to trial your shortlist
- Bring your current bowls. If you’re new, ask whether your club has a set you can borrow.
- Draw to the same jack on both hands. Compare how much room each model needs and how it finishes.
- Put a bowl in the way. See which model gives you a line you’re comfortable playing around it.
- Check the fit. Notice how securely you can hold each bowl and how cleanly it leaves your hand.
